Biography

Dr. Rajasekhar Bala is an Associate Professor and the Deputy Head (Undergraduate Studies) in the Division of Environmental Science and Engineering, NUS. He has broad research experience and interests ranging across: Air Quality, Climate Change, Aerosol Science and Technology, Environmental and Health Risk Assessment, and Water Quality.

Dr. Bala has been actively involved in the development of the Environmental Engineering curriculum at NUS, at both undergraduate and graduate levels. He has taught a variety of courses in Environmental Science and Engineering. He has also been actively involved in promoting Environmental Education and Environmental Awareness, by giving public lectures and seminars, and contributing articles to magazines and newspapers.
