Inspiring 2009 Mentor
Awards
Our warm and heartiest congratulations

Associate Hu Jiangyong,
who was one of the
16 winners of the
National University of Singapore’s
Inspiring 2009 Mentor Awards.
The awards ceremony was held on Saturday, 11 July 2009.
The Inspiring Mentor Awards,
initiated by the NUS Alumni Advisory Board (AAB) celebrates
the inspirational qualities of the winners who have made
exceptional impact on alumni and who have helped change and
influence the course of life of alumni. The inspiring
mentors have all been nominated by NUS alumni. |

Scientist Award

Promotion of Sustainability in
Postgraduate Education and Research)
We are proud
to announce that
Associate Professor Hu Jiangyong
was conferred
The 2009 ProSPER.NET-Scopus Young
Scientist Award in the category of
Engineering and Technology.
The Panel has cited at the Award Ceremony that “This award
is recognition of Dr. Jiangyong Hu’s outstanding
contributions to alternative source of potable water; the
developed technology has high potential for application in
water shortage countries in the region”.

NUS Annual Safety & Health Performance Award
(ASPHA) 2009
The
NUS Annual Safety & Health Performance Award (ASHPA)
is
an annual award presented by Office of Safety, Health &
Environment (OSHE), to give recognition to Departments that
have performed well in safety and health through the
implementation of safety and health management system
ESE won a
Merit Award for having good safety and health
performance and workplace safety and health management
system. This award was bestowed on us at the
NUS Annual Safety & Health Award Ceremony that was held
on 22 April 2009. |
